….that I’m doing the right thing, my son goes and burns his finger on the hot tawa at the day-care lady’s house
When I called her, she apologized profusely. I know it isn’t really her fault. The twins can be a handful most of the times and it is very difficult to believe what move they will make , when.
Somehow, Shobby burning his finger at home will not have me fretting so much! But because he burnt it while at a place where I thought he would be safe, I’m once again jittery and nervous
God!!!
Seriously…this parenting jig is far more complicated than I bargained for

Awww! big hugs…I hope he is better…
Seriously ,how can you think its not her fault? why is he in kitchen? he should be engaged in activity ,what sort of activites they are having? trust me join them in a full pledged and well maintained daycare.
WHat was ur son doing in the KITHCEN.. and what was the lady doing letting him inside the kitchen when she was working on that tava or something ..
and sorry but it is HER fault, it is her responsibility I dont mean any ill respect for the lady but after all kids. she needs to be more vigilant.
I understand
parenting is grilling all the time
how is shobby now?
Hi Momrs,
Still I dont think it is acceptable. When they are paid for watching the kids I think that should be the priority. Kids falling and hurting themselves is a common thing…but this is a little negligent I feel.
Sorry had to comment felt very bad when I read this. Hope Shobby is fine now.
Take care,
Bhavani
It is tough to leave kids with another care giver. I have gone through a stage where I tried almost every good day care around where I live. One thing is for sure nothing can replace home. But what I found out was that the formal day cares are better because they follow extremely strict rules laid by the state. Usually there is 1 teacher for 5 or 6 children. But that being said, accidents happen every where
Kids fall, they get hurt …But kids do learn a lot in the day care/play schools. I can vouch for that part. I stayed at home till my boys turned 3, but when they started their day care, they started catching up with other kids faster than what they did at home. Everything has its positives
Cheer up!
